Robert Beasley is an observer on the ZeaKal board of directors. He is an attorney, entrepreneur, and business executive dedicated to advancing the cannabis industry. A Florida native, he co-founded Litvak, Beasley, Wilson & Ball in 2001, specializing in regulatory law and business strategy.

He played a key role in shaping Florida’s medical cannabis landscape, actively participating in the legislative and rulemaking processes of the Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act. His advocacy continued in 2016 when he contributed to the Florida Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative (Amendment 2), which expanded patient access to medical cannabis in the state. Additionally, he served on the Board of Managers for Florida’s leading independent cannabis physician clinic group, playing a key role in expanding patient access to qualified medical professionals.

As a sought-after consultant, Robert has guided numerous stakeholders through obtaining cannabis licenses and structuring financing facilities in Florida, Oregon, California, and Washington, D.C. He has also been instrumental in designing and constructing five state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation and processing facilities. In 2019, Robert was introduced to FLUENT Cannabis, a vertically integrated multi-state operator as a board advisor, where he was then appointed as CEO in 2020.

Under his leadership, FLUENT has expanded its retail footprint, optimized cultivation and production capabilities, strengthened its market position in Florida, and added New York to the company’s licensed portfolio. His strategic vision focuses on driving operational excellence, enhancing patient education and experience, and fostering innovation in cannabis product development. With a firm commitment to responsible scalability while balancing supply and demand, Robert continues to shape FLUENT into a trusted leader in the cannabis industry.
